Bran Muffins Recipe

delicious way to get your fiber

Ingredients
2 cups wheat bran
1 1/4 cup 2% milk
1 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
Directions
  1. Combine bran and milk, let stand for 5 min.

  2. Combine next 4 ingred, set aside

  3. Mix melted butter and egg into bran mixture, stir in flour mixture until just blended.

  4. Spoon into greased muffin pan cups

  5. Bake @ 400 degrees for 18 min.
