Try a new flavor of cookie. The texture is a little interesting, but the flavor is exciting and novel. I really like these cookies with carob.
| 1/3 | c Canola oil |
| 1/2 | c sugar |
| 1/4 | c steel cut oats |
| 1 | c flour |
| 3/4 | t baking soda |
| 2 | T fresh sage |
| 1/3 | c unsweetened soymilk |
| 1/2 | t salt |
- Mix all ingredients.
- Spoon onto cookie sheet. Drop 1/4 t raspberry jam onto cookies or add a few carob chips into dough before baking.
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Carob can also be melted and spread onto the tops of the cookies (this is my favorite way to do this).
