Apple-Pear Crumble Pie

Makes 12 servings

Good Fall Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 pie crust
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 large apples, sliced
1 large pear, sliced
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
  1. Heat oven to 375.

  2. Mix wafer crumbs, brown sugar, butter. Blend well. Set aside.

  3. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie plate. Spread cream cheese on pie crust. Sprinkl with half of crumb mixture. Set aside.

  4. Combine fruit, sugar, flour, cinnamon. Spread over crumb layer. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.

  5. Bake 35 min or until fruit is tender and crust is slightly brown.
