Ingredients

cup all-purpose flour |

cup whole wheat flour |
| 1 1/4 |
teaspoons baking soda |

teaspoon salt |
| 1 |
teaspoon ground cinnamon |

teaspoon allspice |

cup pumpkin |
| 1 |
cup brown sugar |
| 1/2 |
cup plain yogurt |
| 1 |
egg |
| 1/2 |
cup chocolate chips |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into a large bowl. Mix in the pumpkin, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg and butter until well blended.
- Pour into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
