Baked Acorn Squash Recipe

Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients
1 acorn squash
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp honey
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Slice squash in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and strings and place squash halves, cut side down, on a lightly oiled baking dish.

  3. Bake 45 minutes, until tender. Remove squash from oven and allow to cool.

  4. Scoop out flesh into a bowl and discard the shell. With a fork, mash squash with nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
