A savory gravy good to serve over bread for any meal of the day.

Ingredients

T butter |
| 1/2 |
lb dried beef |
| 7 |
T flour |
| 4 |
c milk |
Directions
- Melt butter in large skillet.
- Chop dried beef into small pieces and fry lightly in melted butter.
- Add flour and mix until butter is absorbed and beef pieces are coated.
- Slowly stir in milk a little at a time.
- Heat over medium high, stirring constantly, until gravy is just boiling and has thickened.
- Serve over sliced bread.
