Apple cake

Makes 12 servings

Apple cake

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, soft
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 salt, pinch
1 cup vanilla yogurt
2 cups apples, chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar, well packed
Directions
  1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt alterning with the yogurt. Slowly incorporate the apples in the mixture. Put in a 9 x 13 greased pan.

  2. Mix all topping ingredients (melted butter, cinnamon and brown sugar) and sprinkle on cake.

  3. Bake at 350 between 30 to 45 minutes, until the cake rises, is nice and golden and detaches from the side.
