Pad Krapaow Tho-Hu sai hed

Makes 2 servings

Thai food

Ingredients
2 cups tofu
300 grams mushrooms
5 peppers, hot chili, red
10 garlic cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 cup basil leaves
2 peppers, hot chili, red
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp soy sauce, light
1 tsp sugar
5 tbsp water
Directions
  1. Preparation:

  2. Pound the chillies, garlic cloves and salt in a mortar until ground

  3. wash the mushrooms and cut them into halves

  4. cut each tofu cake into quarters and cut those quarters into thin slices

  5. heat the oil over medium heat and when hot, fry the tofu until golden

  6. remove all but app. 3 tbsp of the oil and fry the chillie - garlic mixture until fragrant.

  7. add the mushrooms and tofu and stir and turn for a minute

  8. add the water and cook until tender

  9. slice the spur chillies and add them together with the basil leaves

  10. Season to taste with soy sauce and suger.

  11. Serve the Pad Krapao Tho-Hu sai Hed hot.
