Penne Rigate Con Salsicca (Simple) Recipe

italian sausage and pasta

Ingredients
5 links italian sausage
1/4 cup olive oil
16 oz penne pasta
1 bell pepper
1 clove garlic
Directions
  1. cut italian sausage into 1/2" pieces

  2. peel and halve the garlic

  3. cut the green pepper into 1/4-1/2" slices and then cut cut slices in half

  4. start the penne cooking

  5. heat olive oil

  6. add italian sausage and brown until almost fully cooked

  7. add garlic and bell pepper slices

  8. cook an additional 3-5 minutes but not to the point where the garlic is carmelizing.

  9. drain pasta mix together and enjoy!
