Apple Pie Recipe

Makes 8 servings


Simple apple pie with a pressed crust (instead of rolled crust)

Ingredients
2 c Flour
2 tsp sugar
1 1/4 salt
2/3 c salad oil
3 tbsp Milk
2/3 c sugar
2 tbsp Flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
6 c sliced apples
Directions
  1. Mix together the first three ingredients

  2. combine the milk and oil with a fork. Pour over mixed dry ingredients and mix well--set aside 1/3 for topping. Press remainder in pie plate to form bottom and side crust.

  3. stir together the remaining ingredients (sans apples), and pour mixture over apples. Toss to coat apples evenly. Pour into prepared pie place and crumble topping on. Bake at 400 for 15 min then at 350 for 45 minutes or until apples are done.
