| 1/2 | cup water |
| 1/2 | cup uncooked long grain rice |
| 1 | tbsp parsley |
| 1/4 | tsp paprika |
- Combine the water, rice, one whole clove and one bay leaf in a small saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat and simmer until done. Remove the bay leaf and clove. Stir in the parsley and paprika to serve.
