English Rice Pudding.

Ingredients

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons short-grain rice
2 1/2 cups milk, 1% lowfat
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1 tablespoon Grated nutmeg
Directions
  1. Directions:

  2. 1.Put rice into a well buttered casserole dish with milk and sugar.

  3. 2.Put a few shavings of butter or margarine over the top and sprinkle with grated nutmeg.

  4. 3.Bake in the oven at 150C for 2-3hrs.

  5. 4.During the first hour of cooking stir a couple of times then leave undisturbed for remaining time.

  6. Makes 5 1/2 cup servings.
