Sherry's Crockpot Beef Stew Recipe

Makes 12 servings

Ingredients
4 carrots
4 stalks celery
1 onion
1 lb. beef
28 oz. canned tomatoes, diced
4 potatoes
10 oz. frozen peas
3 tbs. tapioca, instant
1 tsp. salt
1 pepper, basil, marjoram
2 cups water
Directions
  1. Put the meat on the bottom of crockpot, layer in all ingredients except peas. Add spices to taste (about 1 tsp. each of dried basil and marjoram).

  2. Cover and cook on high 5-8 hours.

  3. Add peas 20 min. before serving. If you don't like the potatoes to get so soft, you can cook them separately and add at the end.

  4. Also this is low on the meat. You could double it.
