Tasty pale green soup. Very good.

Ingredients
| 1 1/2 |
lbs asparagus |
| 3/4 |
cup Chopped onion |
| 1 |
tbsp cooking oil |
| 2 |
tsp chicken bouillon powder |
| 2 |
tbsp all purpose flour |
| 3/4 |
tsp salt |
| 1/4 |
tsp pepper |
| 2 |
cups skim milk |
Directions
- Cook asparagus in water til tender
- Drain
- Cut asparagus spears into 2 inch pieces
- Sauté onion in oil until soft
- Add asparagus
- Combine bouillon powder, flour, salt and pepper in medium bowl
- Stir in milk until smooth
- Gradually stir into asparagus mixture
- Heat and stir until boiling and thickened.
- Cool slightly
- Put into blender
- Process in batches until smooth
- Return to saucepan and heat through and serve.
