Ingredients
| 2 |
chicken breast, bone and skin removed |
| 4 |
ounces cheese, monteray jack |
| 8 |
slices of ham, sliced, extra lean |
| 1/2 |
cup bread crumbs, dry, grated |
| 1/2 |
teaspoon salt, table |
| 1/8 |
teaspoon paprika |
| 4 |
tablespoons butter, salted |
Directions
- Cut and trim breasts(the reciepe assumes this is a whole 2 part breast) and cut into two breast halves. Or just buy pre cut breast pieces. Use a sharp knife and cut a pocket into each breast. Lay the breast flat, hold down with hand and slice carefully.
- Cut cheese into 4 rectangles. Wrap with ham slices.
- Put ham and cheese into pocket in chicken and seal closed using toothpicks.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Melt butter.
- Roll sealed breasts in butter, then bread crumb mixture.
- Place in an uncovered baking pan.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
