Lentil Soup Recipe

Delicious and hearty

Ingredients
1 cup of carrot
1 cup of celery
2 cups of onion
2 garlic cloves
1 lb of lentils
30 grams bacon
4 cups of water
4 cups of chicken stock
396 grams of tomato paste
1 salt
1 pepper
Directions
  1. Pre-heat deep pot.

  2. Sautee the turkey bacon and remove.

  3. Add chopped onion until translucent.

  4. Add garlic, carrots and celery.

  5. Clean lentils in water.

  6. Move vegetables to avoid sticking and add lentils.

  7. Move lentils for a couple of minutes and add water and chicken stock

  8. Add tomato paste and let cook until lentils are soft

  9. Add salt/pepper to taste
