This drink is a unique Brazilian mix of limes and their sugar cane rum called cachaca.
Simple, citric and refreshing.

Ingredients
| 1 |
fruit lime |
| 1 1/2 |
fl oz rum, distilled 80 proof |
| 1 |
tbsp sugar, cane |
| 2 |
tbsp water |
| 1/2 |
cup ice, crushed |
Directions
- Cut up the lime in 3/4" cubes.
- Muddle cubbed lime with sugar. Do not over do it to avoid bitterness due to lime rinds. (rinds should never be peeled off.)
- Pour over a shaker.
- Pour the rum (Cachaca) in the muddling container, swish it and pour into the shaker.
- Add ice and water.
- Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
- Pour and serve.
