These are sort of like cheesecake, with a different kind of crust. One of my favorite home-baked desserts.
| 2/3 | cup brown sugar |
| 2 | cups flour |
| 8 | ounces cream cheese |
| 1/4 | cup sugar |
| 1 | large egg |
| 1 | cup sour cream |
| 2/3 | cup butter |
| 1/2 | teaspoon vanilla extract |
- Combine the brown sugar and flour in a large bowl. Stir in the butter (melted) and blend until crumbly. Press into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Combine the rest of the ingredients and beat at a medium speed until smooth. Pour over baked layer. Bake 30 minutes at 350. Cool, cut and serve.
