Black Bean and Butternut Squash Soup Recipe

Soup with butternut squash, apples, black beans

Ingredients
1 T canola oil
1/2 large onion, chopped
1 medium carrot
1 stalk celery
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp fresh ginger
2 medium apples
2 cups squash, winter, butternut
4 cups chicken broth
1 1/4 cups black beans
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp kosher salt
2 cups water
Directions
Chop it, saute it, add spices, add liquids, simmer it, eat it.
