Home made cream of potato soup - a wonderful comfort food on a cold winter day.

Ingredients

cups milk, 1% |
| 1 |
cup chicken broth |
| 2 |
cups water |
| 1 |
tsp. nutmeg |
| 4 |
medium potatoes |
| 1/2 |
cup onion |
| 2 |
tbsp. butter |
| 1/4 |
tsp. salt |
| 1/4 |
tsp. pepper |
| 2 |
tbsp. flour |
Directions
- Boil the potatoes (peeled and chopped) with the onion (chopped) in water until soft. Mash lightly. Add chicken broth, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Bring to slow boil. Add flour (shake in a container with a small amount of water) and simmer until slightly thickened.
