Bean Soup Recipe

Makes 22 servings


Dried bean soup with added vegetables and spices.

Ingredients
1/2 cup white beans
1/2 cup barley
1/2 cup green lentils
1/2 cup lima beans
1/4 cup blackeye peas
1 cup corn
3 3/4 cups stewed tomatoes
1 cup spinach, cooked
1 cup vegetable blend juice
16 cups water
Directions
  1. Put beans and water in a pot, and boil until soft.

  2. Then add whatever spices you like. The beans will pick up whatever flavour you put in.

  3. Next add all other remaining ingredients and boil until hot.
