Hershy's Hungarian Goulash

Ingredients
2 lb beef
1 large onion
10 oz parsnip,
2 large carrots
8 oz yam
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp paprika
2 lb eggplant
1 large bell pepper
2 cups water
Directions
  1. Clean beef, place in large pot with onion and 1 cup water.

  2. Bring to boil and cook on very low flame for 1.5 hrs.

  3. Add chopped vegetables, tomato paste and seasoning.

  4. Cook for another 3 hrs on very low flame.

  5. This recipe is for kosher meat, which is already salted. If using non-kosher meat, add salt to taste.
