Apple Butter Recipe

An easy but very slow applebutter recipe made from applesauce in your crockpot.

Ingredients
84 ounces unsweetened applesauce
3 cups sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
Directions
  1. Add applesauce and sugar to crockpot.

  2. Cook down to 1/2 of original volume.

  3. Add spices and cook 1/2 hour longer.

  4. Cool completely. Place in containers to meet your needs and freeze what you don't put in the refrigerator for immediate use.
