An easy but very slow applebutter recipe made from applesauce in your crockpot.
| 84 | ounces unsweetened applesauce |
| 3 | cups sugar |
| 1 | tbsp cinnamon |
| 1 | tsp nutmeg |
| 1/4 | tsp cloves |
- Add applesauce and sugar to crockpot.
- Cook down to 1/2 of original volume.
- Add spices and cook 1/2 hour longer.
- Cool completely. Place in containers to meet your needs and freeze what you don't put in the refrigerator for immediate use.
