meat patties
| 3/4 | lb ground pork |
| 3/4 | lb ground beef |
| 3 | slices whole wheat bread |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1/2 | medium onion, chopped finely |
| 5 | cloves garlic, crushed |
| 1 | pinch salt |
| 1 | pinch ground black pepper |
| 1 | tsp flour |
| 1 | tsp canola oil |
- soak bread in a bowl of water for 10 minutes
- puree bread, garlic, onion in food processor.
- in a large bowl, evenly mix beef, pork, bread mixture with your hands.
- mix in eggs.
- add salt and pepper
- make patties out of meat batter
- dredge in flour
- pan fry 8 minutes on each side.
