Tomato & Cream Cheese Pita Recipe

tasty, fresh, low-cal snack or meal. This recipe makes 1 serving. You can prepare several tomatoes in vinegar at once to use over the course of a week (or maybe longer).

Ingredients
28 grams whole wheat pita
100 grams fat free cream cheese
180 grams tomatoes
1/4 cups red wine vinegar
Directions
  1. Prepare ahead of time:

  2. Coursely chop tomatoes and put into bowl.

  3. Pour red wine vinegar over tomatoes.

  4. Cover bowl and let sit in refrigerator for several hours.

  5. When ready to eat:

  6. Split small circular pita into 2 semicircles and toast.

  7. Spread cream cheese inside each pocket.

  8. Fill pocket with marinated tomatoes.
