Makes 16 servings

biscuits with 1 teaspoon of oil per cup of flour

Ingredients
2 cups self-rising flour
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 cup lowfat buttermilk
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 F

  2. Cut oil into flour with a pastry blender

  3. add buttermilk

  4. stir until dough releases from bowl; add flour if necessary

  5. turn out onto floured surface

  6. roll out and cut

  7. Bake for 14 minutes

  8. makes 16 biscuits
