| 16 | ounces tomato puree |
| 16 | ounces kidney beans |
| 4 | tbsp. onion |
| 4 | tbsp. green pepper |
| 2 | tsp. oregano leaves |
| 1 | c. Mozzarella cheese |
| 1 | c. lettuce |
| 8 | bagels |
Mix tomato puree, rinsed kidney beans, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, dried oregano together. Place mixture on top of 1/2 a bagel and top with 1/8 cup of lettuce and 1/8 cup of mozzarella cheese. Substitute regular bagels for whole wheat in order to increase the nutritional value of this recipe.Categories
