Ingredients

lb. Green beans |
| 2 |
bacon, slices, cut into pieces |
| 1/4 |
cup shallots, minced |
| 3 |
tbsp. almonds, chopped |
| 2 |
tbsp. brown sugar |
| 1/4 |
cup balsamic vinegar, white |
Directions
- Steam green beans according to package directions in Microwave to appropriate crispness.
- Cook bacon in a small skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon onto paper towels to drain.
- Add the shallots and sauté 1 minute. Add almonds and sauté 1 minute. Remove and let cool. Add the sugar and vinegar to the pan and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add bacon.
- Pour vinaigrette over the beans.
