Apple Nut Bars

Makes 12 servings

apples, walnuts, raisins

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 large eggs, well beaten
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/3 cup raisins
1/2 cup apples, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  4. Place batter in a well-greased 9x13 inch baking pan.

  5. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until edges are golden. Remove from oven and cut into bars while still warm
