Try serving this delicious syrup warm over pancakes, waffles, or French toast. Adapted from the American Diabetes Association. blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, or raspberries, unsweetened apple juice , cornstarch or arrowroot powder, sugar, lemon peel, lemon juice. tsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder |

Directions
- Puree the berries with the apple juice. Transfer to a saucepan and add the cornstarch or arrowroot powder. Cook over medium heat until bubbly. Add in the sugar, lemon peel, and lemon juice.
