Reduced fat, reduced sugar version of hearty granola you can bake or fry to perfection.. add your own favorite ingredients. Excellent on yogurt, still very high calorie! Serving size is about 2/3 cup.

Ingredients

cooking spray |
| 1/4 |
cup splenda brown sugar blend |
| 3 |
T oil |
| 1 |
tsp vanilla |
| 1 |
pinch salt |
| 3 |
cups oats |
| 1/2 |
cup wheat bran, oat bran or ground flax |
| 1/2 |
cup wheat germ |
| 1/4 |
cup nuts |
| 1/4 |
cup sunflower seeds |
| 1/4 |
cup sesame seeds |
| 1/2 |
cup raisins, or other dried fruit such as apricots & cranberries |
Directions
- Combine honey, sugar, oil, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt and heat while stirring in a large pan for 2 minutes.
- Add oats, bran, coconut, wheat germ, and cook 4 more minutes, stirring consistently.
- Continue to cook, turning every minute for 6 - 10 mins or until golden brown.
- Add nuts and dried fruit and stir, stir, stir.
