Quick and easy dinner, flavor to your liking! For more or less spice, adjust red pepper flakes you add.

Ingredients

oz. linguine |
| 1 |
cup asparagus |
| 10 1/2 |
oz chicken broth |
| 1 |
lb chicken breast, skinless, boneless |
| 1/2 |
tsp ground pepper |
| 1/2 |
tsp red pepper flakes |
| 1 |
tbsp basil |
| 1 |
tbsp lemon juice |
| 1 |
tbsp garlic, minced |
| 1 |
tbsp olive oil |
Directions
- heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp minced garlic in skillet
- Add chicken breast, cut into cubes.
- Add 1 tbsp basil, cook until almost done.
- Remove chicken from skillet and add asparagus (about 14 medium spears, chopped in 2 inch sections) with 10 1/2 oz of chicken broth.
- bring broth and asparagus to a boil, allow to cook until asparagus is almost done.
- add chicken to skillet with broth/asparagus.
- season to taste with red pepper flakes, fresh ground black pepper and lemon juice.
- When linguine is done toss in a bowl with chicken, asparagus and broth concoction.
