Ingredients

oz orzo, dry |
| 48 |
oz split chicken breast, boned |
| 32 |
oz raw carrots |
| 1 |
med raw onion |
| 2 |
tbsp salt |
| 1 |
tsp ground black pepper |
| 132 |
oz water |
Directions
- Boil chicken in water for 1 hour.
- Remove chicken and set aside. Skim excess fat and skin from water.
- Add peeled and quartered onion, peeled and thin-sliced carrots, salt, and pepper to boiling water.
- Boil vegetables for 1 hour.
- While vegetables are boiling, skin, debone, and cube the cooked chicken.
- After vegetables are boiled add orzo and boil for 15 more minutes.
- Add chicken and boil for 10-15 minutes.
