| 1/2 | cup onion, diced |
| 2 | garlic cloves, minced |
| 8 | oz tomato sauce |
| 1/2 | cup water |
| 180 | g (1 cup diced) tomatoes, fresh or canned; if canned, drain |
| 1 | tbsp yellow mustard (2046) |
| 2 | tbsp worcestershire sauce (91739) |
| 1/4 | tsp salt |
| 1/2 | tsp pepper, ground black |
| 258 | g (six) whole-wheat hamburger buns |
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat for approximately 5 minutes. Drain fat.
- Add onions and cook 3 minutes or until onions begin to turn clear. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.
- Add remaining ingredients except buns and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve on whole-wheat buns.
