Submitted by ronit

Makes 18 servings

An adaptation of another recipe here. For convince you can store already measured dry ingredients until needed.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup flour, whole grain
1 cup oat bran, raw
2 tsp sugar (option: vanilla sugar)
1 tbs baking soda
1 tbs baking powder
2 cup milk, lowfat, fluid, 1%
4 egg white
2 tsp olive oil
2 cup water, aprox
Directions
  1. Combine dry ingredients in one bowl and wet, except water, ingredients in another. Note: you can add flavors here if you like as well.

  2. Mix together, adding water most but not all water (~1.5 cup), and let stand for 15 - 20 minutes, until mixture thickens a little, add more water if batter gets too thick.

  3. Heat pan, spray with oil if needed, and pour batter into pan then fry until bubbles begin to go away.

  4. Turn and cook other side until done.

  5. Serve with your favorite topping.
