classic greek salad
| 4 | large tomatoes, chopped |
| 1 | onion, chopped |
| 1 | small cucumber, chopped |
| 1 | green bell pepper, sliced |
| 1 | red bell pepper, sliced |
| 24 | mushrooms, quartered |
| 24 | black olives |
| 1 | cup feta cheese |
| 1/2 | cup olive oil |
| 2 | tblsp lemon juice |
| 2 | tblsp white wine vinegar |
| 1 | tblsp oregano leaves |
| 1 | tsp salt |
| 12 | tsp pepper |
- in large mixing bowl, combine vegetables, olives, and cheese.
- In a small bowl blend together the remaining ingredients. Pour over salad, toss to coat. serve at once
- Note: can be made ahead of time but do not pour dressing until ready to serve.
