Italian Vegetable Soup

Makes 8 servings

This is especially good on a cold day, but I like it any time of the year.

Ingredients
12 oz Italian sausage
1 onion (chopped)
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
14 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes
14 1/2 oz chicken broth
8 oz tomato sauce
16 oz chili beans
16 oz green beans
Directions
  1. Cook sausage, onion, and garlic in sauce pan. Drain the fat. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer for about 20 minutes. You can sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top it you like it. Yum!
