Moong Dal
| 2 | cups |
| 6 | cups water |
| 1/2 | tsp turmeric |
| 1/2 | medium onion, chopped |
| 1/2 | medium tomato, chopped |
| 1 | tsp salt |
| 2 | tbsp olive oil |
- Add dal, water, turmeric and 1 tbsp olive oil to pressure cooker.
- Cook for 2 whistles.
- While dal is cooking, add onion and remaining olive oil to a sauce pan and cook onion until golden. Then add tomato and any other spices you want.
- Once dal and onion mixture are cooked, add onion mixture to dal. Add water based on preference and cook until creamy consistency.
