Yummy Lebanese rice from my Grandma.
| 1/4 | cup macaroni |
| 1 1/2 | tbsp olive oil |
| 1 | cup white rice |
| 2 | cups water |
- Sauté the macaroni in oil in saucepan until golden brown. Careful they burn easily. Macaroni should be orzo pasta or a spaghetti broken into small pieces (like rice)
- Add rice and sauté for a minute.
- Add water and salt to taste.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook covered for 20 minutes.
