Ground Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Makes 8 servings


make ahead and have ready for company. serve with cranberry or tomato sauce of your choice.

Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
4 tbsp cheese, romano, grated
1 tsp olive oil
Directions
  1. Heat olive oil in large frying pan.

  2. Mix all ingredients together and form into balls (about golf ball size)

  3. Cook meat balls in pan, covered, for about 8-10 minutes.

  4. Remove cover and turn meatballs

  5. Continue cooking about another 5-8 minutes until done.
