Creamed Tuna On Toast Recipe

Makes 1 serving


Canned tuna in a basic white sauce served over toast

Ingredients
3 ounces tuna
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
2 slices whole wheat bread
Directions
  1. Melt butter in a small skillet over low heat.

  2. Add flour and whisk till smooth; remove from heat.

  3. Add milk and whisk till smooth; return to heat and whisk continually until sauce begins to thicken.

  4. Add tuna and stir in with fork to break up fish into sauce.

  5. Serve hot over toast.
