Canned tuna in a basic white sauce served over toast
| 3 | ounces tuna |
| 1/4 | cup milk |
| 1 | tablespoon flour |
| 2 | tablespoons butter, unsalted |
| 2 | slices whole wheat bread |
- Melt butter in a small skillet over low heat.
- Add flour and whisk till smooth; remove from heat.
- Add milk and whisk till smooth; return to heat and whisk continually until sauce begins to thicken.
- Add tuna and stir in with fork to break up fish into sauce.
- Serve hot over toast.
