Prep time 10 minutes. Cook time 15 minutes.
| 1/3 | cup soy sauce |
| 2 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 1 | tbsp gingerroot |
| 1 | tbsp honey |
| 1 | tsp sesame oil |
| 1 | pound salmon fillet |
| 1 | chopped green onions (optional) |
- Whisk together soy sauce, garlic, ginger and honey in a bowl. Remove and set aside 1/4 cup of mixture.
- Place salmon fillets in shallow dish and pour marinade over top. Cover and chill 5 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove fillets from marinade; discar marinade. Cook, skin side up, 5 minutes; turn and drizzle with reserved marinade. Cook 5 to 7 minutes more or until fish flakes with fork. Top with green onions, if desired.
- Also great cooked in foil on the grill!
