Pan-Grilled Salmon Recipe

Makes 4 servings


Prep time 10 minutes. Cook time 15 minutes.

Ingredients
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp gingerroot
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1 pound salmon fillet
1 chopped green onions (optional)
Directions
  1. Whisk together soy sauce, garlic, ginger and honey in a bowl. Remove and set aside 1/4 cup of mixture.

  2. Place salmon fillets in shallow dish and pour marinade over top. Cover and chill 5 minutes.

  3. Heat sesame oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove fillets from marinade; discar marinade. Cook, skin side up, 5 minutes; turn and drizzle with reserved marinade. Cook 5 to 7 minutes more or until fish flakes with fork. Top with green onions, if desired.

  4. Also great cooked in foil on the grill!
