homemade honey roasted almonds and walnuts. you can use any other type of nut as well (except peanuts, which end up way too sweet. if you find them too sweet, or too many sugar calories for you, cut the honey and oil in half, and only use 1/2 cup of sugar.
| 1 1/4 | cup almonds |
| 1 1/4 | cup walnuts |
| 2 | tbsp honey |
| 2 | tbsp canola oil |
| 2 | tbsp water |
| 1 | cup sugar |
| 1 | tbsp salt |
- roast almonds and walnuts at 350 degrees for approx 12 minutes
- bring honey, oil, and water to a boil
- stir in roasted nuts, until almost all liquid is absorbed
- stir in sugar and salt until the nuts are evenly coated
- spread out evenly on wax paper to cool
