I enojoy this as a filler meat for tacos....warm corn tortillas in a skillet for 30 seconds each side and fill with sliced tongue meat and pico de gallo for a wonderful low calorie healthy lunch or dinner.
| 1 | lb Beef tongue |
| 1/2 | cup onion, chopped |
| 4 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 3 | beef bouillon cubes |
| 1/2 | tsp celery salt |
| 4 | cups water |
Place all ingredients in a pot and simmer on low for 2 hours. Take tongue out and peel skin off and discard. Slice the tongue in thin slices and serve in corn tortillas for a great taco. Goes well paired with my pico de gallo recipe!Categories
