Lamb Burgers Recipe

Makes 3 servings


It's a burger made with ground lamb.

Ingredients
1 lb Lamb, ground
3 tbsp breadcrumbs
2 tbsp orange juice
1/4 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
2 tsp chives
1/8 tsp marjoram, dried
1/8 tsp salt
1 pepper
1/4 lb mushrooms, chopped

Mustard Sauce:
1 tbsp mustard, grainy
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tbsp chives
1 pepper
Directions
  1. Mix ground lamb, breadcrumbs, orange juice, lemon zest, parsley, chives, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Set aside. Saute mushrooms. Let cool and mix with lamb mixture. Shape into 3 patties. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer. Grill burgers for about 4 minutes on each side. Place on a plate or a bun. Top with Mustard Sauce.

  2. For the mustard sauce just mix all ingredients and keep chilled until ready to use.
