A collection of veggies, stewed in chicken broth. Good accompaniment for grilled or roasted chicken. Also makes a nice light lunch. Many combinations of spices can be added for flavor. Different veggies can be substituted.

Ingredients

ounce chicken broth |
| 1 |
lb carrot |
| 1/4 |
head cabbage |
| 1/2 |
large red onion |
| 2 |
cloves garlic |
| 1 |
medium potato |
Directions
- Chop vegetables to bite-size pieces.
- Dice garlic
- Combine with broth in crock pot
- Cook on low about 6 hours or on high about 3 hours.
- Salt and season to taste.
