Roast Chicken

Makes 7 servings

Garlic Roast Chicken

Ingredients
3 1/2 lbs chicken
1/2 medium onion
4 cloves garlic
3 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Directions
  1. Clean whole chicken. Salt and pepper inside. Peal garlic and cut up 1/2 onion place in cavity. Spray or rub oil over outside of chicken. Salt and pepper outside of chicken.

  2. Place in foil covered cookie sheet and put in 450 degree oven for 30 mins. Lower temp to 400 and cook until golden brown and juices run clear. (approx 30-40 min)
