Original recipe calls for 2 cups each all-purpose flour and ww flour and no vinegar.
| 3 | cups wheat flour, whole grain |
| 1 | cup oats |
| 3 | tbs olive oil |
| 1.33 | cup water, 120 - 130 F |
| 1 | pkg dry yeast |
| 1 | tbs honey |
| 1 | tsp sesame seeds |
| 1 | tsp white vinegar |
- Preheat oven to 425 F. Grease a large baking sheet. Stir together flours.
- Combine 1 1/2 cup mixed flours, yeast and salt. Add liquid ingredients to flour-yeast mixture and beat until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Add enough more flour to make moderately stiff dough. Knead 3-5 minutes or until smooth.
- Cut into 12 pieces and roll each into a pretzel; place on greased baking sheet an sprinkle with the salt on top.
- Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Tip: The white vinegar helps, when using WW flour only, to make the dough fluffier.
