pizza dough

Ingredients
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
Directions
  1. Dissolve 1 tablespoon active dry yeast into 1 1/2 cups warm water.

  2. Let yeast/water mixture sit for about 5 minutes until bubbles form.

  3. Put flour in a large bowl or on a working surface and make a well in the middle.

  4. Pour yeast/water mixture in and work it into the flour until a dough is formed.

  5. Work in the olive oil and salt.

  6. Knead the dough for 5 minutes.

  7. Sprinkle lightly with flour and knead until the dough is no longer sticking to your hands.

  8. Make an "x" in the dough with a knife and rub the dough with a little bit of olive oil. This will prevent it from cracking.

  9. Rub olive oil in a bowl. Place the dough into the bowl and cover with a cloth. Dough will need about 1-2 hours to rise to double it's size.
