Lemonade Recipe

On a nice warm day, anyone would like to grab a slushy or pop right out of the refrigerator. But how about trying something new and more healthy? Something like lemonade? This recipe is simple and easy to make. It is even high in vitamin C and contains some calcium and iron! It has a high sugar content, however, the sugar comes from honey which is a natural product. It has lemon and water in it, too, which gives you the benefit of having some fruit and being hydrated. It is reccommended as a substitute for soda pop on a warm day.

Ingredients
8 ounce lemon
5 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
10 cups water
Directions
  1. Pour the ten cups of water into a pitcher.

  2. Squeeze the lemon into the water by using a fork; make sure you turn the fork so you get as much juice as possible.

  3. Add and stir in the five tablespoons of honey and one tablespoon of light brown sugar.
